 "Our Favorite Hotel in France"
We stayed for three nights in Domaine de la Toortiniere as part of a two week vacation in France. My daughter and I both agree that it was our favorite hotel and that dinner on our first night was our favorrite meal. The grounds are amazing, the rooms are elegant and the service was devoted. I am a light sleeper and I slept soundly all three nights - a rarity for me. I Although the hotel is out of the town of Tours, it served as a conveniient home base for our Loire Valley experience.

The Domaine de la Tortinière is a charming family owned mansion-house, built in the 19th century. It is situated near Tours, in the middle of a delightful 15-hectare park overlooking the Indre river. Serenity and calm are the main impressions you may feel during your stay, in any season. A restaurant, offering a traditional Val de Loire cuisine, a tennis court, an outdoor swimming pool and a rowing boat on the river are at your disposal to make your stay an unforgettable one. A laundry room Le Pressoir equipped with a washing machine and a dryer is at guests' disposal, and cards can be purchased at the reception desk (Dry Cleaning service remains available yet with a 24 hour up to 48 hours delivery time).
