Musée des Beaux Arts is a Fine Arts museum filled with old furniture and sculptures from prehistoric times to the present. It also contains a painting gallery with works by local artists.

The L'aubade, Autour des Saveurs and L'atelier are three excellent choices. Prunes are an important produce here in Agen, since they're the "capital of prunes". You'll find these served in many restaurants either as an after-dinner drink or an appetizer stuffed with prune purée. If you're there in September, you can catch their annual Prune festival, which includes circuses, rock concerts and prune tasting.
