Gare de Lille-Europe Lille

The Gare de Lille-Europe is the more modern train station in the city of Lille. Because of this, it has become an additional instrument in the tourism in Lille, as it is used by tourists who want to head on to other towns and cities in France while staying in the city. The station is used primarily for TGV and Eurostar services. There are also some regional trains that pass through the station. The station was built in 1993 as a station for trains that pass through the city, on to Belgium, UK and the Netherlands. It is also used for the French TGV services, except for those coming from Paris.
