If you are in Paris and you love horses, just drive one hour south and you will find yourself in Chantilly, France's capital when it comes to race horses. In a racing weekend, Chantilly allows you to learn all about horses and their thoroughbreds. You can learn about the history of horse racing in the Musée Vivant du Cheval. Each day, around 3000 horses are being trained. Aside from horses, you’ll also be amazed by the beautiful chateaus located in Chantilly Park. The park has two castles; the Grand Château which also houses the Musée Condé and the Petit Château. Both of these castles are open to the public and you can visit them during the time they are open.
