"Compact & bijou"

The staff at this hotel are great, They are friendly efficient and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel location is ideal for exploring paris on foot, metro or bus. Close to some beautiful shops and restaurants , walking distance to the major landmarks and a quick metro ride to the stade de france . A great weekend as france won the rugby .The hotel rooms are compact but sufficient for a short stay the hotel was too hot for us but that I think is personal choice. This is why the sleep score is lower . Good value, lovely stone walls on the interior and great staff

"Excellent choice"

Good location, quiet. Boutique Hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were small, but adequate but with comfortable beds. We would return to this hotel and would recommend it.

"Paris in the Spring"

This hotel is in an ideal location for the Louvre, Musée D'orsay and the other sites of the Left Bank. It is close to the metro and is very comfortable. The decor is charming and while the room was not large it was more than adequate with a comfortable bed. There was plenty hot water for showers and although it is close to the Boulevard St Germain it was not noisy. The staff are very helpful. We first stayed there 15 years ago and would certainly go back.

It is a very charming and cozy well-located hotel in the heart of Saint Germain de Près. The girls at the reception are really nice and helpful. It has a very special atmosphere. It is what a 3 stars hotel should be plus charm. And it is 3 minutes from the best macaron in town☺

Pros: The staff were extremely helpfull and the location was fantastic! we walked to the louvre, musee d'orsay, st germain,st michelle,les halles, la marais and the aiffel tower(that was about 45 mins!)highly recommended!

Pros: As with all french hotels, the bathrooms were tight but everything was outstanding. hotel was very clean and service was terrific. by far, the academie had the best location for spending time in paris!
Cons: Elevator was too small.

Pros: Reception staff kindly organised our tours before we arrived. we were upgraded to the most expensive room at no extra cost which meant we had a jacuzzi which made the holiday much more fun.
Cons: Our friends were not upgraded and we therefore had the opportunity to see the "delux double" and i was quite shocked at the size, smell and decor. for this reason i would be hesitant to go back to this hotel.
