One of the activities in the capital that both locals and tourist like to do is having fun at parks. This is the same anywhere else in the world as in the French capital city, where the famed Parc de Bercy can be found. The area that is now covered by the park was once a bustling centre for wine importation and storage in Paris, until the decline it experienced in the 1960s. It was here that the wine arrived by barge and train. You can still see train rails now in the park's pathways.

The Parc de Bercy has a beautiful garden with lines of plants that include a small vineyard at the centre and wide lawns at one end, which makes booking a hotel near Parc de Bercy more that worth it. This garden has replaced the warehouses that have long been abandoned. There are also landscaped hills in the park that come complete with ponds and fountains, which makes the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy or the Paris-Bercy Multipurpose Sports Arena a bit better to look at. Among the activities in Paris that you could take part in the park is listening to Paris' own story of the wine.
