The villages of Challiot, Passy and Auteuil were incorporated into Paris when Napoleon III ruled. He combined the villages with the Bois de Boulogne in 1860 to form the 16th Arrondissement.
This somewhat modern Parisian building on Rue de Passy is next door to Gallery Passy Plaza, housing 32 boutiques, a famous enclosed food and fish market, and surrounded with 19th and 20 century art deco buildings. One could spend weeks in this neighborhood and not see it all. Also nearby are Trocadero, housing anthropology and maritime museums, as well a vantage point looking over the River Seine, fountains and the Eiffel Tower.
The apartment is 56 m2 and consists of an entrance and living/dining room, with expansive windows, to view trees and private gardens. Quiet, but for the sounds of birds. One can access the 10 meter long balcony from dining, kitchen and bedroom doors. To the right of the entry is a walk in closet for wardrobe and luggage. The hall leads to the kitchen, wc, bedroom and marble walled bathtub/ shower duvait areas. Strictly perfect for nearby dining out, and preparing meals like at home. The bedroom houses a double 140 and has lots of storage. The ‘L’ shaped sofa converts into a double bed.

A refundable damage deposit - EUR 200 for small apartments, EUR 300 for bigger apartments - is required upon arrival. This will be refunded after check-out, once the apartment has been proven free of damage.
