Hotel Aris Nord Paris

Pros: Very friendly staff (english speaking). excellent location.
Cons: Streets are noisy at night and it can be a bit difficult to sleep.

Pros: For the amount you pay, which isn't all that much given that it's paris, this is great value for money. the hotel is quiet and while you're out people come into your room and make your bed/ empty your bin. the staff at reception were helpful and let me leave my luggage there for most of the day before and after check-out. it's not the ritz, and is old and creaky, so don't expect anything great. but it's more than adequate if you just want a private base to stay at which is reasonably comfortable, safe, clean enough, and well located.
Cons: No negative experience as such. the carpets are a bit old and slightly worn, but that was fine - it wasn't expensive.

Pros: Located close to gare du nord.. so great for someone travelling by train. a few good restaurants around.
Cons: The vicinity isn't great. lots of hoodies lurking around on the street, was a bit uncomfortable navigating through beer drinking crowd especially with my wife. although room was decent, found it a bit pricey.

Pros: Location is excellent because it's a very lively part of paris with shops and restaurants for all the different cultures of the people that make up this area. location for north and easy train stations and nearby metro stations is excellent. staff were very welcoming and spoke good english
Cons: The street nearby is a bit noisy at night which might be a problem if people sleep with their windows open

Pros: Easy tofind, good location and very helpful staff.
Cons: Afterleaving the reception area decor and cleanliness of the hotel are not the best, room did have an odour about them.

Cons: Hotel staff very, very rude and arrogant! unfriendly and not helpful at all. when we asked for information, they don't seem to want to help and keep telling to ask at the train station.

Pros: Very nice management - both young and old. as asian, i found asian grocery shop and restauatnt - both atleast 40% cheaper than market,with same quality; cold drinks cost was cheaper by 66% further 100 meters away was donor kebabs,that too were only 05 euro,more than enough for lunch or dinner. from gara de nord and hop n hop sight seeing so close - 600-800 meters,straight directions from aris, i recomend/ suggest, both bachlors and families to opt for hotel aris. air port taxi costs euro 36- one way, 25 minutes drive to cdg; and metro i used on arrival at mid night cost anout 17- 18 euro for me and my wife. i wish good luck to aris
Cons: 1. cancellation of room, perhaps without any reason and thereafter restoring, on assurance that my credit/debit card is genuine. therefore cancellation should be avoided.
2.room / bath room cleaning and bed making must be regularly supervised by the management, bacuase some time workers are work avoiding, at the cost of reputation of management

Pros: Staff was very helpful, with booking confirmation, during my stay, very polite, and some could speak russian. i picked hotel based on location, and it was suitable for me and not too far from the centre for me. room was simple, but clean, and i got a double bed. in general it was good value for money. i had a lovely stay. thank you

Pros: Это единственный отель у которого остались свободные номера за 4 дня до въезда, в удобной транспортной развязке и недалеко от центра. Один из администраторов говорит по русски (учился в Москве)

Pros: Hotel was in excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful, spoke good english.
rooms a little dated but very clean.
Cons: Lift a little noisy if you're room is next to it.

Cons: 1-in the bathroom there was not enough soap and shampoo 2- the balnkets were very old 3-breakfast was very poor

Pros: The hotel owner who was at the reception on our arrival was very welcoming and was very generous with his information on tourist attractions and how to get around.we really appreciated it.we left our luggage in a store there as the room was being cleaned then and the kind gentleman offered to keep an eye on it while we went sight-seeing.however when we returned to the hotel at about 7.30pm,there was another man at the reception.he looked at us and remarked there was no room for us as our names were not registered there.we were shocked.we told him we even had our luggage in the hotel store.he curtly gave us the address of another hotel which according to him was a 10 minute walk away,if we walked briskly.it was drizzling and dark and it was our first time in paris.we(my husband ,our 2 girls and i)were not even offered transport.we lost our way eventhough he did give us the directions.when we finally got there we were totally exhausted.the hotel room we were in that night was modest but we managed to get a good night's sleep.the next morning we were asked to go back to aris.we were in a dilemma as that would upset our travel plans that day.furthermore,we did not want to lug our luggage to and fro should there be no vacant room once again.when we reached there the kind owner apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to pay for the taxi fare.the room for 4 was large with a large and brightly lit bathroom.the room ,towels,bedsheets were all very clean.i would recommend this 2 star hotel for a family who would be on the move during the day.
Cons: For foreign tourists cnn /bbc network on tv would have been much appreciated

Pros: The hotel is neat and tidy, and the location is very convinent as it is located between gare de east and gare de nord. however, too many people grouped outside the street in the evening time for there are many african restaurants. it made us feel a bit scare while walking on the road at night.
