There are two issues when staying in hotel rooms in Europe: The room size and the check-in time in the afternoon only. Hotel Beausejour Montmartre offered us a room with good dimensions and a large bathroom compared to other places we stayed. When we checked in at 10:00 am, we were so tired due to the jetlag, we wished a room would be available and we got one within 30 minutes . Every time we asked the front desk for a service, they always answered us politely and positively.

Hotel is accessed easily by taxi from Gare du Nord for around 10 Euros. There are many bars and restaurants in the area to choose from. Hotel is newly refurbished in a modern style. There is even a courtyard garden! We had a standard room on the 6th floor in the original building and although the ceiling was sloping the room was very amenable. The modern bathroom was very functional and if you craned your head out of the window, you could even see the Eiffel Tower. We didn't have the breakfast as we chose to have ours at the different cafes in the area. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the metro station Place de Clichy. Staff spoke english and were very helpful.

Pros: As it was my first time in paris i chose a hotel that it was near to some great attractions of the city and close to a subway line. beausejour montmartre was great for me.
the rooms were very clean (we had new towels everyday, a little shampoo - shower jel, and a shoe cleaner) and warm, with allday heating witch was an excellent thing as it was snowing at least for 6 hours everyday. the hotel is next to place de clichy metro station and next to montmartre and the moulin rouge. it has a beautiful garden but unfortunately we were not been able to use it as it was snowing all the time. the hotel staff was very helpfull and provided us with any information we needed. it provided wireless internet free of charge in the room and in all general areas. generally is a great value for money and i strongly recommend it.

Beausejour Montmartre is appointed with air conditioning. The smoking ban of Paris is continued within this building. From your room you can have wireless high-speed Internet access (complimentary). Rooms also boast an alarm clock. When the outside is of importance to you as much as the inside, you will be glad to know there are rooms here with a city view. A coffee/tea maker is supplied in the rooms in this hotel.
