Lovely rooms, perfect location, very helpful hotel staff. Only negative was a bit of noise at night, but to be expected from such a great location. Would highly recommend.

"One of the two rooms reserved was not ready so we were given the first room..."
Pros: One of the two rooms reserved was not ready so we were given the first room and the check in agent brought us the key to the second room when it was ready. that was very nice of him.my
Cons: My friends asked for a wake up call at 5:30 am and the call did not come until almost 6:25.
Cons: Overpriced because of international hotel fair in paris at the time

"We were pleasantly surprised at the large size of the room having heard..."
Pros: We were pleasantly surprised at the large size of the room having heard horror stories of box sized rooms in paris. being on the sixth floor also provided us with a fab view of the eiffel tower which was another lovely surprise. the hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. i've already recommended it to friends and would definately go back.
Cons: Only trying to find the road when we first arrived! not located on any map

"The staff were great, helping us out quickly and without any fuss whenever..."
Pros: The staff were great, helping us out quickly and without any fuss whenever we needed. the metro is close by, so it is easy to get around paris and you can in fact walk to most of the attractions without too much bother. we had a free upgrade to the superior double room - the bed was massive, the room spacious enough, nice bathroom and a big flatscreen tv with a few english channels.
Cons: Room service and mini bar are obviously rediculously overpriced (6 euro for a beer, 23 euro for some smoked salmon), but we wouldn't have bothered with them if my partner hadn't felt unwell one night. le tour de france was on, due to arrive in paris the next day, yet their tv service didn't have the french broadcaster with the live coverage (just german eurosport with hughlights at 11pm).
