"Helpful staff, excellent location"

The charming Cluny Sorbonne Hotel, housed in a lovely 18th century building, is located in a quiet side street in the lively Latin Quarter of Paris, just around the corner from both the Sorbonne University and Panthéon. The property lies within walking distance of many of the city's major attractions, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre museum. This recently refurbished property is well served by public transport and easy to reach, and many reasonably priced restaurants and cafés line the surrounding streets. The hotel features a warm atmosphere with simple but comfortable rooms and offers guests a friendly and attentive service. Pets are not allowed.

Cons: We had room on 6th floor and the lift's too small. two people with bags fulfill it. my feeling was this floor was under renovation. half painted doors on the corridor and slats in the room.

Pros: The room was small and the decor dated, but we knew that prior to arrival (it was actually charming in its own way)- so the point is: don't expect luxury!. otherwise it was very clean, comfortable and quiet - perfect for what we needed as we had no intention on spending too much time in it (it is paris after all). the staff were extremely nice and helpful. overall, can't fault the place and i would recommend it (if you're there to enjoy paris and not spend the weekend in your room)
Cons: No negative experience - it was perfect!
