Pros: Staff very helpful. breafast was buffet self-service with reasonable range of food on offer (croissants very nice!).

good base from whihc to explore montmarte, with easy access to center and left bank via metro.
Cons: Carpet was heavily stained and needed cleaning. otherwise room was quite clean.
breakfast room is relatively small for a hotel of that size, so it was very crowded in the morning at weekends.
no muesli for breakfast. in fact, cornflakes were the only cereal on offer.
