"This hotel's location is fabulous"

The Hotel Eber Mars is located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, a lively residential district with a number of attractions in the immediate vicinity: the Ecole Militaire is right before your eyes, along with the Champs de Mars and the Tour Eiffel. Yet, you are also close to areas where real Parisians come and go every day, as the rue Cler with its market, cafés and restaurants. Thanks to the proximity of the subway station, you will have easy access to all Paris. The elegant decoration, made with brigh wood and delicately coloured fabrics, makes the real collector's items stand out. Pros: This hotel's location is fabulous. it is right next to the eiffel tower and very close to a grocery store that allowed for me to stay under budget for food purchases. it is also across the street from a metro stop which made traveling to different areas of the city and airport very easy. the room was cleaned daily and the bed was very comfortable.
since i wasn't spending a lot of time in the room i didn't care too much about not having a view. the room is small, but i was aware of this when booking the hotel. for the price, you will get more than what should be expected. the staff all speak english and are extremely helpful and hospitable. i used the l'open tour hop on hop off bus for seeing the city and there was a stop just a couple of blocks down from the hotel where i could get on and off.
i was traveling alone (female) and didn't stay out too late after dark. the hotel's location let me walk through the park in front of the eiffel tower every night and get back to the hotel, never feeling unsafe.
if you are traveling on a budget, i highly recommend this hotel.
