"Clean, nice staff but very small (and very old)!"
The staff was very nice, always smiling and helping. I was relieved that our room was clean. There was just one shower an the floor but it was fine and we hardly ever had problems (but careful: blue is warm and red is cold). It wasn't comfprtable however. The room and the bed was very very small. (I am not a big person, but there was hardly enough space for me). The furniture is really really old! In parts broken and/or rusty. (That makes the place look neglected.) I am not sure if I would stay there again, but if you only look for a place to stay than it might work for you.

"very good value, perfect for short stay"
The hotel is located not too far from the centre of Paris (about 20 minutes or less by metro)It looks a little dilapidated inside, but everything works as it should doThe shower was very nice and warm, the bed was very comfy and warmThe room looked a little out of shape, but appearances were the only things wrong. It was always very warm, all the essentials were there (table, chair, bin, sink, mirror, large opening window, comfy bed)If you want a luxury, glamorous hotel with a restaurant inside then look elsewhereBut if you want a comfy bed, clean hot shower, cheap supermarket and lively cheap bars nearby then this is definitely the hotel of choice. It was the second cheapest hotel I could find in Paris for a double bed, and is very close to the centre, and has a great bar just around the corner.
