Hotel Banke is set in the heart of the Grands Boulevards quarter, close to Place Vendôme and 10 minutes from the Louvre.

Located in the 9th arrondissement, in the Opera area, Hotel Banke Paris is right in the heart of the Grands Boulevards quarter, a stone’s throw away from 'Place Vendôme' and ten minutes from the Louvre Museum. This hotel is the ideal place to enjoy the City of Light as it is a luxury, designer hotel in the centre of Paris offering 5-star services. Located in one of the most commercial and luxurious parts of Paris, on 'Rue La Fayette' near 'Boulevard Haussmann', the hotel is a new concept in the Paris hotel industry.

Restored with contemporary decor, a sophisticated atmosphere and a private art collection, Hotel Banke Paris, opened in April 2009, occupies a classic Parisian building designed by architects Paul Friesse and Cassien Bernard in Eiffel style. The hotel has its own art collection which is now a trade mark of all hotels from the Derby Hotels Collection. On the first floor of the hotel the original architectural elements, such as the moldings, the height of the ceiling and the parquet flooring, have all been enhanced, bringing the Haussmann style into the 21st century.

The Banke Hotel offers 91 rooms to get away from the hubbub of Paris and rediscover the exquisite tranquility of luxury in this spectacular hotel. The 14 singles, 34 doubles, 14 executives, 18 deluxe rooms and 11 suites of up to 60 m², have a decor that simply exudes refinement with cream and chocolate tones, purple curtains, parquet flooring, plaited leather rugs, damask leather headboards and designer furniture. Comfort is guaranteed in all rooms thanks to the quality of the fine materials. In the bathrooms the most beautiful marbles are used, some lined with silver plated mosaics.

"A nice hotel with some dissappointments"
Firsty, the positives. It's a great location, a beautiful building with funky deco in and out. The staff was attentative, especially the bell boys at the door. They were extremely friendly, and always ready to help with luggage, calling a cab or finding a parking spot. The entrance area, with the lobby, restaurant and bar has a special deco and ambiance. The restaurant, which we were able to use on our first night was good, filled with interesting and tasty gourmet dishes and a decent wine selection. Now for the few dissappointments. The room was very small, one would say tiny. Although it was sold as a "superior double", we didn't find anything superior about it. It was OK though, just did not match our expectations. More dissapointing was that they decided to renovate their beautiful restaurant and bar area for the whole weekend. Closed on Sat/Sun. Of course, we were only told on Saturday morning. This was very annoying, as we could not use the best and most beautiful part of the hotel for two days. There was a half-hearted apology printed in front of the lift, but it did not compensate for the loss of experience.Overall, a nice place at a nice location. We didn't have a bad experience, but based on the hotel's web site, pictures and previous reviews we expected a great one. It did not happen, at the end there was no special feeling that we don't want to leave or can't wait to return. Which was really a shame...

 "Weekend Break"
Great Location, Service was fantastic, every one was v.helpful and welcoming. Added bonus was free wi-fi throughout the hotel (despite it being advertised on the web that we'd have to pay extra), their was also a PC by reception which was free for guests to use.

"The location for a tourist is superb"
Pros: The location for a tourist is superb. it's a 2 minute walk to the metro station and only 10 minute walk to the louvre and surrounding sights. while i do speak some french, all of the staff had excellent english language skills. the price is very reasonable for paris and the facilities are top notch. i will definitely stay at hotel banke in paris again.

"The moment one arrvies at the door of the hotel the bell boys were so kind..."
Pros: The moment one arrvies at the door of the hotel the bell boys were so kind to open the cab door & carry the luggages to the reception where one checked in. am surprised that in paris someone is there to help you with the luggages. the room was a bit small but perfect for a single traveller. also, location is excellent in terms of shopping, site seeing, and access to public transport.
Cons: If you are looking for a hotel with a view then this is not it or maybe my room was overlooking the shaft with view of other room windows but didn't mind since i wanted a quite room.
