 "Basic room close to Gare du Nord"
Small room with thin walls and only the most basic facilities. Hotel currently undergoing repairs, so hopefully things will improve. For now, only advantage is close proximity to Eurostar station.

Pros: The receptionists in the hotel are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. the elevator going upstairs is also helpful especially for those carrying lots of bagagges. the room is clean and the area is quiet and not noisy.
Cons: I think the bed should be improved cos we had a backache because of it.

Pros: Very close to gare du nord train station. that is the only positive thing.
Cons: Not very clean room. towels are visibly old and worn. the neighbourhood doesn't seem safe nor clean, but that is paris after all. i didn't expect something better.

Cons: Hotel staff extremely rude as had issue with tv not working in evening and was told by staff that it was time for bed anyway?? had to come down 6 floors and a few harsh words before he finally with recluctance went up and helped me :-(
