"It was a comfortable hotel, newly refurbished and clean"
Pros: It was a comfortable hotel, newly refurbished and clean.
Cons: The stairs, having plastic strips on the edge of the stairs (to stop wear and tear i suppose) made it very noisy when people were walking up and down them and it disturbed us quite often during our stay

"The room was clean and net"
Pros: The room was clean and net. bathroom was excellent.
Cons: Lack of free internet access. free wifi, not just wired internet, is an expectation when i stay in a hotel. all i needed was 5 minutes to confirm my flight. it wasn't worth 5 euros.

"Staff were excellent, location perfect, nice and quite yet in city center,..."
Pros: Staff were excellent, location perfect, nice and quite yet in city center, though basic, great value for money and would stay there again, especially since on the same street there is a couple of excellent non tourist restaurants, and a brand new small and intimate wine bar owned by a lovely couple called just opened up too.
Cons: Nope, perfect stay.

"This hotel was a great find"
Pros: This hotel was a great find. it is in a quiet pedestrian side street (which is rare to find in paris!) the staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were really clean modern and comfortable. breakfast was continental and till 10am. great location near the metro station and a walkable distance to galleries lafyatte and other big stores in the opera area.
Cons: No kettle in the room :-)

"Our stay was perfect"
Pros: Our stay was perfect. the hotel has a quaint feel but was very recently renovated (2009). the beds were comfortable, the windows blocked all sound when closed and let a great breeze in when open. it was located within 1 block of a grocery, cash machine and many restaurants, including indian/thai/french. the desk staff were polite and friendly, and really saved our trip when they told us about a transit strike happening the day we were flying back to the states! if he had not thought to tell us so that we could leave early we would have missed our flight for sure, and he was extremely helpful in telling us how to get to the airport at 3 am, setting up a cab, telling us what our options were etc... when we really needed help they were there for us which was priceless.

"A newly refurbished hotel"
Pros: A newly refurbished hotel. rooms of an adequate size, nicely furnished. good powerful shower, . staff very helpful and friendly. just a few minutes walk from the metro and on two lines, one of which takes you directly to the place de la concorde and eiffel tower. the big departments stores only a short walk in one direction, the louvre walkable in the other. we had a family room and although breakfast was simple (orange juice, a jug of good coffee, a bread roll, a croisant, butter and jam) we were not charged for our 14 year old so we thought that it was comparable to what was available in the cafes and saved valuable time having it in the hotel. i would have no doubt about recommending it and would definitely stay there again.
Cons: We were on floor six and the lift was small and too claustrophobic for me so i used the stairs which was exhausting - but to be fair that was my problem and not the hotels. otherwise a brilliant experience.

Pros: Hotel was realyyyyy good, clean, nice. i'll recomend it to my friends for sure.
location realy good. metro station 1-2 min walk from hotel.
bathroom so nice, so clean.
realy poor breakfast, but i heard that everywhere in hotels is like that <for 6 euro>
i am going to book the same hotel for my brother for end of september :o)
Cons: Lady on reception didn't tell me that parking in paris is free in august. she was upset when i didn't go to the car park she sent me to. and she pretended that she doesn't know anything about that.
