The room was very cosy and clean. Location is convenient, close to the train station. The only dissapointment was that we had to change the room in the middle of our stay, but we were given a nice room again. Overall experience in this hotel was good.

Walking distance from L'Opera & Gallerie Lafayette. Very friendly staff. Buffet breakfast at 10euros was fairly priced. We had zero traffic noise, just a few birds singing in the small courtyard (although our bedroom was rear facing, so I cant vouch for the street facing bedrooms) free WIFI worked seamlessly. The bedroom was small but perfectly formed :-) and clean. I would say we got what we paid for and some besides. In fact the overall stay would have been 100% except for the ill mannered German family at breakfast (yes, they really do reserve tables and push in front of you to get the last sausage!) but 99% isnt a bad score :-)

Pros: The hotel location is perfect - close to shopping, monuments - the center of paris.
Cons: The hotel - and the room was very worn down - and not okay compairing to the price. the hairdryer did not work - and there was an awfully lot of noices - from the street (but thats okay) and from the bathroom. on our way to breakfast we had to pass tons of bags with dirty laundry - not very inspiring for the breakfast.

Pros: Great value for money and was more than expected. would certainly stay again. bed very comfortable, breakfast at 8 euros for buffet was great. no complaints at all.
Cons: The hallway carpet needs replacing and the bathroom was a bit tired but for 50 euros a night/single in the center of paris was a minor detail.
