Hotel de la Motte Picquet is a beautiful, personal little hotel in the heart of Paris. Staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable on sights to see, places to eat and use of Metro. All speak very good English. Located next to Rue Cler - a pedestrian avenue with cafes, delicatessens, bakery, chocolate shop and much more, spend some time here and enjoy what this street has to offer. It is an easy 10 minute stroll to the Eiffel Tower. Rooms are small but that is the charm of this hotel. Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is your typical European breakfast, tasty with a good choice of produce. Breakfast can easily be enjoyed in Rue Cler as well with a fresh baguette, fruit and fromage. The friendly staff made our stay in this hotel a pleasure.

Pros: The hotel was quaint, although our room a little less so than it appeared on the site. our requested 2 beds were pushed together, but a little furniture rearranging took care of that. the staff was very helpful and friendly. the location is fantastic.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel is ideally located for exhibits and restaurants/cafes and is quiet. we would stay again.

Pros: The hotel was central located, only a block or two from the eifel tower and very close to many other land marks! the staff was great!! they were so helpful! our room was very nice! can't wait to go back!!

Pros: Fantastic location and a small but quaint hotel. the staff were excellent. extremely friendly and so willing to help in any way they could. room was very small but in a city like paris, the only time you spend in your room is to sleep so it was sufficient. most importantly, it was in a fantastic location and the staff were wonderful.
