great location, decor has modern twist to it and very clean. However the double superior rooms are very small!!! Staff are very friendly and obliging. Would stay there again but due to limited space 2 nights maximum.

Pros: The room was attractive enough, comfortable bed and room never got too hot.
Cons: Breakfast was very poor...had to ask for croissants and orange juice. bathroom was exceptionally cramped.

Pros: The hotel is in a wonderful location--close to the luxembourg gardens, boulevard ste. germaine, and several good metro stops. my room was in excellent condition and faced a charming courtyard. the bed and linens were very comfortable. the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Pros: Having travelled around europe and the uk in the last one month, hotel de la sorbonne definitely stood out amongst all the hotels we've stayed in. love the atmosphere and decor of the hotel from the entrance, through to reception, hallway and our bedroom. the hotel was clean and cosy, and returning to the hotel in the evening almost feels 'exciting'. a definite hotel with so much of character. the locality was also a positive point.

Cons: Our room (22) was smaller than we expected (albeit we accept that paris hotel rooms are generally so). it was made to feel even smaller by the dark decor.

Pros: good location,good shower and the room was comfortable
Cons: Rooms are very small and the web site give the impression they are bigger also i was charged for 2 rooms despite only booking 1 and having only 1 booking confirmation so it was an expensive couple of nights . i had no evidence with me to argue with them.

Pros: Location is great, staff are helpful, and the rooms are nicely decorated.
Cons: It is an old building, so the rooms are tiny and the walls are very thin; you can hear your neighbors and hallway noises.

Pros: We spent two nights at the sorbonne hotel, decor was nice and the beds comfortable. its in a good location.
Cons: We spent euros 392 for two nights. breakfast was extra! first night was such a small room, the worlds smallest bathroom and dark, no water, fruit or those other little luxuries that other hotels offer. it was also very noisy room...sound outside and directly above the breakfast dining room. we moved rooms, and although the room was a little larger it was brighter and quieter. stylish but not good value for money.
