 "Hotel du Prince Eugene"
Have paid many visits to Paris over the years. This was the first time we have stayed close to Nation. Enjoyed the location - I expect many would say there is not enough to do within 100 yards of the hotel, but....Very impressed with the staff who are knowledgeable, courteous and cheerful. We will stay again at the Hotel du Prince Eugene.

Pros: Small room,but they all are in paris,unless you can afford the ritz,rooms are being decorated and my room had been finished and very smart it was,had a room with a balcony.rooms spotless and cleaned every day,staff polite and spoke good english.come out of hotel turn left and the station nation is just in front.turn right and you can walk to pere lachaise very busy and lots of shops,and a market.will use this hotel again.didnt have breakfast there food cheaper on the streets.
Cons: Fire exits not to grand,i was on top floor and my only option would of been to have stayed on the balcony.no kettle,but there never is in paris,so took my own.

Pros: Nice cozy hotel , remodeled bedrooms. great access to metro , coin laundry 1 block away, 1 bakery same block , nice cafes same block, fast inexpensive fast food shop 1 block away, little supermarket across the street, noise reduction windows.

Cons: Room was depressingly shabby, about 3 years past time for new carpet and furniture, which was falling apart. aircon worked, but directed at bed, and could not set fan to slow enough speed.

Pros: Good location, easy access to metro and rer( 5 min walk ), very nice bathroom, room and bathroom have got lots of light ( 3 windows ), confortable double bed, tv was working well, good windows too since one can't hear much from the traffic outside ( it does not disturb anyway ), pleasant staff
carpet will have to be changed but the overall impression is that the room was clean.
Cons: The walls are a bit thin so one can hear conversations from next room
