"Paris break"

Overall a lovely hotel in a great central location in Paris. Room really clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast menu extensive and staff very friendly and helpful. Only small complaint was noise coming from pipework in the bathroom over more than one night which kept us awake for a while, other than that, very good.

Pros: Excellent location very clean and tidy nice and quiet too.. only down side is the room size..
Cons: Lift is very old and really should be upgraded really poor. besides the lift..the whole time we were there painters were painting the main entrance which was a real pain because it was hard to get in and out of the hotel. p.s asked the hotel to call us a taxi to go to the airport.. when he arrived he had already 20 euro's on the meter, told him to get f@$&ed so we just went around the corner and got one from there

Pros: The hotel location is fantastic if your intention is to see the sights. the cleanliness of the hotel and helpfulness of the staff is really good. the breakfast is of a good standard, i would recommend this board basis as it is quite expensive to eat out. the reviews i read about paris hotels before our holiday all mentioned about the small sized bedrooms, however our room was really quite spacious and larger than i expected. overall a really pleasant stay and a lovely hotel, we would definitely stay there again.
Cons: New wallpaper in our room would be the only thing i would mention. people had either scraped their luggage on the walls and skirting boards or something which left quite a few black marks on the main wall.

Pros: We could not say but wonderful things about our stay with duminy vendome. we had a 3 person privilege room, complete with a safe for our passport. the room was large, spacious and the most comfortable beds that i have slept in. the hotel staff was warm and gracious and extremely helpful with our questions. the location was ideal, with close access to attractions or the tube. i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to paris for the first time.

Pros: Excellent boutique hotel. front office staff fantastic. room a delight. they upgraded my partner and i and we had this delightful loft room. the breakfast room was lovely. hot breakfast dishes. beautifully set tables. clean. sparkled actually. we loved this hotel. fabulous. fantastically located within minutes of le louvre, rue de rivoli, place de la concorde and champs des elysees.
Cons: No nothing.

Pros: The hotel was very accommodating; we arrived early and they allowed us to check into our room before the regular check-in time. the location was excellent. walking distance to the louvre and other attractions; if the weather is nice enough, you can walk to the champs-elysees and arc de triomphe. it is one short block up from the rue de rivoli, main street, close to the metro station. there were three people in our room, and there were three beds with alot of walking room and an extremely large bathroom. the room was very large according to european standards and ample for us standards. it was very clean and kept up very well. i would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: The only draw-back was the elevator [lift], it was small but that only impacted us with our luggage - multiple trips. nothing to impact our stay.

Pros: Staff were efficient and very friendly - not always the case in paris. location was excellent and hotel was good value for money when compared with other paris hotel prices.
Cons: The room was very small but given the rate in comparison with other hotels in paris and the fact that this is common it isn't something i would complain about rather that people be aware.
