"weekend in Paris"

Fantastic hotel.Very nice rooms and very ,very clean.Staff are very friendly and helpful.In a good area,lots of restaurants and close to Notre Dame. Will stay here whenever I visit Paris.,as it is close to a lot of attractions in Paris.Would also reccomend the Bus Tour to see all the sights too.

"A beautiful place to stay"

The hotel was in a perfect location and a stones throw away from the Metro. The family room that we had was great and bathroom spacious. Staff were always helpful and happy to assist in any way possible. The room was cleaned every day and beds were very comfortable. I really can't find any thing to complain about...a fabulous French hotel in a fantastic area. I would recommend and stay again!

"First time in Paris"

This was our first time in Paris. We found he hotel itself to be adequate. The staff as very helpful and spoke English. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because they're were a ton of small cafes in the blocks around the hotel. These cafes are great because they really cater to tourist so any langue is not a problem. The location is EXCELLENT!! Less than a block to metro which will get you to all attractions. This metro station also goes straight to Versailles and CDG. Tip bring ear plugs if street noise keeps you up. Popped those in and sleep just fine.

"A very pleasant stay"

The hotel was very good, staff was very helpful and friendly. The upsides are the hotel per se, the location, and the staff. Even the breakfast is very good. The downsides are that the duvet cover was torn in 2 places, and we received a flaw information regarding our late checkout. But besides that it was very, very good. I would definitely stay there again. P.S.: We stayed at the double deluxe room.

"Great Service and Great Location"

The Hotel Europe in Paris is located in the Latin Quarter of Paris near Notre Dame. It is a great area with restaurants, shops, cafes, etc.....It is located right next to the St. Michel metro stop so it is easy to access the rest of the city. The hotel staff was beyond courteous in every way and the room was big enough and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would return on another trip.

"Lives up to promise"

Good location close to the St. Michel metro station, 5 minutes from Notre Dame by foot. There's a small market around the corner. Staff were friendly and polite, taught me some French. Great effort has been taken to make the bathroom we had modern and efficient; towels and linens were clean and good quality. Our room had been remodeled in the fairly recent past--clean and without a lot of wear and tear.If you're nervous about being overheard while in your room or easily annoyed by hearing others, be sure to keep the bathroom door closed: something, the ducting, perhaps, channeled sound between our bathroom and at least one other. It didn't bother us.We ate in a few of the restaurants near the hotel. I, at least, would recommend going further afield to eat. My wife and daughter report that the hotel's breakfast was quite OK.I would stay there again, gladly.

Pros: The staff were very helpful each time we asked for assistance or directions. the location was excellent for getting to the prime locations in good time.
Cons: The size of the room quoted as a superior double was nothing close to that description. it had all the basics but lacked a little room in the bedroom and especially the bathroom. the shower is certainly only built with a slim person in mind.

we asked if there were any other rooms available at the front of the hotel, as we were given the choice on check-in of the street side or court-yard. however the receptionist advised that friday and saturday nights were filled with noisy club goers and if we valued sleep over space, to stay where we were.

Pros: Stayed here while taking one day to sightsee in paris after a business trip. was extremely pleased with the hotel, was a good value compared to others in the area (given that we booked only one week in advance, in the midst of summer). upon arrival we were able to check in early and were given a free upgrade to 2 lovely rooms with balconies overlooking the street . my double room had a full wraparound balcony and was clean and aesthetically pleasing, with dark wood floors and furniture and a large tiled bathroom. the location was superb, in an area with many restaurants of all kinds, shopping, markets, and souvenir shops. it was a stone's throw from the seine & notre dame and easily accessible by metro. did not have a chance to try the on-site restaurant. would definitely stay here again!

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. we had an excellent room overlooking the street (room 203)which was clean and kept clean. the hotel staff were helpful. the location was just excellent. the breakfast was great too. i will be returning to paris next year and look forward to staying again at this hotel. i would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to my friends, honeymooners, mature travellers,couples and business people.
