First time in Paris. Flew to CDG airport, we decided to make our own way to hotel. Very easy, even though the trains were down we easily found the right bus and the hotel. If the trains had been working the best way would be to get the RER then make your way to Jules Joffrin station, hotel is literally two minutes walk away.The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The guys on reception were really friendly and helpful. Gave us a plug adapter to use during our stay, and a hairdryer was available every morning. Always clean towels and beds made everyday.Getting about was very easy, used the tube everyday, seems the easiest and quickest way to get about. Last tube just after midnight.Found French people very friendly, and helpful. We tried to speak French, but most people spoke some English anyway.Had a great holiday, loved every part of Paris.

The location of the hotel is very good (near Sacré coeur) and it doesn't take a long time to go to different places (metro station is close).The room was very small, the beds sags in the middle, the room was to the street, so it was quite loud in the mornings. Sleep with the window closed and everything will be fine. :)The bathroom is also very small but was always cleaned well.Breakfast was ok, the staff was very friendly and helpful, so no big complaints. But we were there to see the city and for sleeping and having breakfast the hotel is recommendable.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, good location and good value for money.
Cons: Although the staff is excellent...do not book if you are expecting a 4-5 class hotel.

Cons: Hot and stuffy, small rooms and very tiny shower that must be hand held, no soap holder & impossible to pick up soap from floor without opening door!

Pros: Small room and ensuite, tired but clean. always hot water and clean towels, all staff we met were excellent, trying a few words of french always helped although all staff spoke excellent english. loved the location, not touristy and so not expensive. very near sacra cour,try little local bus up and walk down. bus and metro links outside hotel and cheap and good, makes paris seem quite contained. hotel typically parisian but clean and a great base and for paris and this location good value, not for lovers of luxury! small but functional lift to 5th floor.

Cons: Room inventory quite dated. old linens, dirty walls, etc.

Pros: Free wi-fi, which was very important for me as this was a work trip. and also good location for the conference i was attending.

Cons: Too often the lift was not working. this is unacceptable for elderly customers. the staff were unconcerned.

Cons: Room very hot / bathroom too small/ room small. useful to know size of room especially if you are large persons sharing.thankfully we were slim.

Pros: Front desk clerk gil was very kind and friendly and he was helpful.
Cons: My wife and i are missionaries with saddleback church just task force and once our mission was over we wanted ro see paris for a few day;s.bad idea!the maids treated me as if i was some type of crazy person just because i spoke english only and she was african/french maid. however i caught her really bad talking about me and my wife and i caught her talking in part speaking english to another maid. i will not come back and i am thinking about sending a formal report to our pastor rick warren at saddleback church. i felt like i was hated! maybe you guys need to revaluate this problem because it left a bitter taste in my mouth cause when i think about it more i get even a more sorry feeling when i remember how that maid would not let me drink a cup of coffee with out always trying to see what i am doing. i am not paranoid, i am in law enforcement for over 8 years and i know how to assess people no matter of color,race or nation.

Pros: The staffs at the hotel were very kind and helpful and the metro station is just within walking distance from the hotel. thus it is located at a very convenient location. besides that, there are various restaurants and supermarket within the vicinity of the hotel.
Cons: There was no water kettle provided in the hotel room

Pros: Good location residential area felt very safe
Cons: Breakfast was pricey

Pros: Easy access to buses and metro. staff were friendly and helpful. a good breakfast selection was provided.
