Cons: Needs a coat of paint!!
Cons: Everything is poor but the location, so i just recommend it for those who like to be close to the champs however it's too expensive when we take the facilities into consideration
Cons: The fuse tripped a couple of times if you plugged the iron in with the heater, they didnt let guest back to the room after 10.30pm which was a really pain as we had friends in paris, and they didnt clean the room all weekend, although to be fair we did sleep in most of the day because we got in late!!!
Cons: There were builders working in the adjoining building who started early in the morning and made lots of noise. also there were no curtains in the bedroom and the bathroom window was not properly frosted and people would be able to see in.
Cons: We asked the concierge to direct us to versailles, and he directed us to the port versailles metro stop, which was a convention center about 20 minutes outside of paris- clearly we'd intended to visit the palace.
Cons: Inital impressions were poor- building old and tired. furnishings well used and in need of repair/ replacement. definitely not in quiet neighbourhood! noise from vehicles and unruly pedestrians continued all night. building noise continued all day... unable to leave window open because of noise! no airconditioning in room, so became uncomfortablly hot. no coffee making facilities in room, and 'mini bar' is actually a tiny, empty fridge! we had to request a plug for bath and 'shower hose' in bath too short to reach head if standing up, and no wall bracket to mount it on, so had to sit in empty bath to shower!!
parking almost 2 blocks away and very expensive.
Cons: The carpet in the room was old and filthy such that we kept our shoes on. the furniture and fittings were outdated. there was building works going on behind the hotel which was intrusive. although a great discounted rate, would have felt cheated if charged the full rate.
Cons: Shower and toilet were both broken, room was right next too building site, extremely noisy.
