Pros: Hotel staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. room was very clean and quite spacious which was a nice surprise. location was very good too.
Cons: Room service and hotel amenities were poor, limited drinks in mini bar, bed was too soft and therefore quite uncomfortable. very noisy at night. air conditioning in room not very good.

Pros: Upon arrival hotel presented beautifully. staff excellent, room was quiet, very clean and comfortable. central position. good to sight see.

Pros: Bright contemporary decor, good sized room (superior), very pleasant staff, superb location (charming little side street full of nice shops but very close to the big department stores) , near several metros. an altogether excellent experience. worth noting that prices the hotel's own website were significantly higher than those on easytobook!
Cons: Breakfast a bit expensive (15 euros, better to go down the road to paul or one of the other local cafes, 5-6 euros).

Cons: The hotel ordered a taxi for us on departure and when the taxi driver arrived he tried to start the meter running at €14, saying that that was the surcharge for ordering it from the hotel. the whole journey from the hotel to gare du nord should only cost around €10. we refused to pay and said we would catch a cab in the street instead, at which point the taxi driver became very aggressive and locked our luggage in the boot! the hotel had to phone the taxi company, with whom they have a contract, and it took 15mins for us to get our luggage back. it was a very unpleasant experience and we nearly missed our return eurostar. although the hotel did their best to help, they didn't seem to know whether the ridiculous €14 surcharge was correct or not.my advice to other guests is to catch a cab in the street, rather than ordering one from the hotel.
