"The staff were excelent they had a good understanding of the english..."
Pros: The staff were excelent they had a good understanding of the english language which was helpfull as we didnt want to murder the french language with out mispronounciation of it.
Cons: No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, only one plug socket for a family room with 3 occupants. the lift wasnt big enough for a standard size wheelchair to fit in so had to be collapsed even with the wheelchair collapsed there wasnt much room left and my mum could only just about stand with difficulty the luggage had to be carried up the steps. the portable ramp to go up the couple of steps that led to the hotel was also very narrow. we had trouble with the standard size wheelchair i would hate to tihnk of the issues someone would have with a wide wheelchair.

"Great location"
First time in Paris and we only stayed as it was on our way to Ireland and we thought we would take a couple days to look around Paris. Bus stop right infront of the hotel which took us to all the major attractions. Fantastic! Great coffee shop, chemist, mini mart and the best bakery within a few meters of the hotel. Rooms are small we stayed in a twin bed room with a baby. Was a little cramped but we didn't care for luxury. Clean and tidy.. A bit out dated but it was good for our needs. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Bathroom was small but it had the neccisities toilet, shower and hand basin! No shower screen so expect water on the floor.

"Hotel staffs are very helpful and kind"
Pros: Hotel staffs are very helpful and kind. the location of the hotel is excellent! i'd like to use this hotel again.
Pros: Very polite staff. close to gare du nord and convenient for early flights to cdg
Cons: Loud, noisy street, thin walls. you can hear the other guests, especially if they play the radio. carpet looked really stained and it felt dirty.

"Great location only 5 minutes from gare du nord"
Pros: Great location only 5 minutes from gare du nord. 15 minute walk to sacre de couer. spar opposite hotel less than a minute walk. bus stop opposite hotel. a variety of restaurants and bars within a 100 yards. along with chemist, dry cleaners and other usefull shops. friendly & helpful staff. very clean room, all linen etc changed daily. hair dryer soaps and towels provided. perfect location if you want to use hotel just as a base so that you can see the sites of paris. even though there is specific check in and check out times you are able to leave your luggage so that you can make the most of your trip. would definetly use hotel again.
Cons: No kettle

"This was a small room but it was clean"
Pros: This was a small room but it was clean. they actually had a blow dryer in the bathroom so that was nice. really the room was quite decent. it's not what most of us would be use to in the states but it was clean and well maintained with a nice staff.
Cons: Can't really think of anything negative. i don't have a lot of experience with overseas hotels but this seemed decent enough.

"Kind & friendly, gentleman at reception, speaks good english"
Pros: Kind & friendly, gentleman at reception, speaks good english
Cons: There was a building/renovating project going during our stay at the hotel. i am allergic to paint and cement dust - therefore i am very sick (in bed) now, directly after our stay at the hotel. very noisy. surely could get better value for our money.

Cons: The room wasn't very clean, they did not seem to change the bedding at all. the bathroom had some mold, which wasn't very nice.

Pros: We found the gentlemen on reception very helpful, good humoured and friendly. when we had a problem with our bath and sink not draining, we mentioned this to them and the problem was solved by the time we got back to the room. we were particularly impressed by the excellent deal we got for an en suite room this close to many of the sights we wished to see in paris and handy for the gare du nord.
Cons: As mentioned, there was a problem with the drainage in the bathroom
