Pros: The staff were very helpful and polite and the hotel is only a 30second walk from one of the main metro stops (republique) so it was very easy to travel around the place. also the reception is open 24 hours and they keep your key when you go out so there is no chance of losing it. the shower water pressure was good and the tv worked well.
Cons: Our room was right next to the lift and it was really noisy early in the morning - we wern't sure if it was the lift that made the noise but either way we were woken up both nights. the shower door in our room was hanging by only one hinge so getting in and closing the door was an issue and the two males that were with us struggled to fit into the shower as it was really small - it also wasn't free standing so you had to hold the head while showering.

Pros: Good location, close enough to walk to all major sites
Cons: Reception staff terrible, carried on as if you were not even in front of them, slow, un-welcoming, did not seem to know what they were doing, first day no plug for bathroom sink, next day towels only left for one person even though two of us were in room, no bath mat,window opened onto wall alost, smells from restaurants in strret filled room but had to have window open as very hot.

Pros: Two of the three staff members we dealt with were helpful and friendly. we were moved to a different room after our first night due to booking availability. the second room we were in was much better than the first, however still not worth the rate.
Cons: The first room we were put in was a disgrace. graffiti on walls and ceiling, toilet looked as though it had never been cleaned, mould in bathroom, paper thin walls. this was not worth 90 euros a night! we were shocked. we were then moved to a room that had better facilities, however every morning we would be woken up by people yelling up the stairs and someone calling the hallway phone. there was also a very rude man on the front desk for the majority of our stay. this "luxury" hotel is a bit of a joke.
