Pros: We stayed at the hotel rochester because of its proximity to the champs elysee since i was running the paris marathon on april 10, 2011. it's very conveniently located right next to st phillipe metro station, and close to fdr station on the champs elysee too.
our room was on the top floor and the view was rather pleasant. we had a good sight on the top of the eiffel tower.
the room itself was marvelous.
i definitely would return and recommend the hotel.
Cons: My only gripe with the hotel, and it does not pertain only to this on, is the lack of respect of their ecological statement.
they ask their customer to keep towels they want to reuse on their bathroom hooks, we did since we are green. but the staff replaced the towels every day.
