The hotel is very charming. I love the winding staircase!The rooms are quite small and there is no breakfast restaurant. However a croissant, a piece of bread and coffee/tea (6.5 Euro) in the room is a nice and relaxed way of starting the day.The staff was very friendly. Only thing missing was a toilet in the reception for when we came to collect our luggage after the last day exploring Paris.The metro station Jussieu is just 5 minutes away, and it takes only 10-15 minutes to walk to the Notre Dame.

Pros: A good hotel, our room had a lot of character. the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: No air conditioning so had to have windows open as was so hot.

Pros: The hotel was very well located in walking distance to many atractions.
Cons: We had two rooms, one of them were ok, but one was to tiny and had a dirty carpet. breakfast could only be served in the room that was not well anounced.

Pros: My mother became sick as soon as we reach paris and she had a surgery,i will always be gratefull to this hotel magnificent staff. they help me in all possible ways, finding a wonderfull doctor to visit mom in her room, calling taxis, the pharmacy, etc. we extended our stay for another two nights and they kindly made all the arrangements. they always asked about my mothers health with real concern.

Pros: Day staff was incredibly helpful. rooms were very clean and location was perfect...one block from metro and three blocks from notre dame.
Cons: Had to climb up into the shower, literally a two foot step up. exceptionally loud street noise on weekend nights.
