"Staff very helpful on tourist suggestions and information, spoke english..."
Pros: Staff very helpful on tourist suggestions and information, spoke english which helped us tremendously.they're going to close down in dec for a year long massive renovation, i hope it doesn't lose it's authentic charm..we really loved this place and it's locale.
Cons: We had the rick steve's pocket paris book, which mentions his recomended hotels often offer free breakfast as a courtesy "reward". the lady during the day was aware of this and noted our room accordingly that we had a "free breakfast day" we utilized the next day. but at check out, they charged us for it and the man on duty was not aware. he said we could wait 45min for manager to arrive, but we had to go to airport. i asked if i could email for refund, and he said yes, email once home. i've emailed twice requesting a refund of 20euros, but the hotel won't even reply!
"The room was clean and the breakfast was fairly good"
Pros: The room was clean and the breakfast was fairly good.
Cons: I would not stay at this hotel again. it was clean and the foyer was cute but that was about it. in my room, the television did not work, some of the lights did not work and then shower did not drain. i had to turn the water off three times during my shower so it didn't overflow! also, there was no wifi in my room. so in order to get internet, i had to go downstairs to the lobby to write emails, use skype, etc. for how much i spent there i was expecting it to be nicer.

"The best thing about the hotel was the location, a really nice area in..."
Pros: The best thing about the hotel was the location, a really nice area in walking distance of good restaurants, food shops etc. there was an excellent boulangerie next door that was good for breakfast.
Cons: Although the female receptionist during the day was really friendly and helpful the man on reception in the evening was unhelpful and refused to book us a taxi when it was pouring with rain!
our ceiling wallpaper was stuck on with sticky tape and my husband had to restick it as it was hanging down! however the room was big and the bed comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower and everything we needed. the positives and the great location made up for poor decoration.

"I've spent 3 days in that hotel with my friend, it was my 3 time in paris..."
Pros: I've spent 3 days in that hotel with my friend, it was my 3 time in paris and first for her. the best thing of the hotel is it's location, very close to eifel tower and to underground stations. we came at 11pm and were very surprised that we still could have something to it in near by restaurant. the hotel was pretty all that i've expected: small room (but enough for 2 people), small bathroom, everything was clean and tidy but needs some renovation. so dont expect something grand in there. at the end, you only spend nights in there)))
Cons: The breakfast was poor (but you can expect this for 10 euro), and they don't have iron in the whole hotel....i've asked for in on the phone and they brought me a hair dryer, but then i tried with gests to explain what iron is and was really surprised that they did not have it....

"The hotel is located near the metro and bus as well as the air france..."
Pros: The hotel is located near the metro and bus as well as the air france airport shuttle. there are many bisros, cafes, bakeries and asian delis near by. from the front of the hotel, you can see the eiffel tower. the majority of the hotel staff at hotel saint dominique was very helpful and knew who we were after the first meeting. there is a small elevator and the radiators work very well. we had room #25 in the front building overlooking the street and it was great. the room had a bathtub with a shower head, a television and a fridge. i would stay there again.
Cons: The hotel is old and the decor needs replacing but i found out that refurbishment is to take place soon. there is a tavern across the street but the noise is not too bad. our cable plug in for the tv was broken but a little jiggle would usually fix that.
Pros: Very good locations! loved it! very pleasant!
Cons: There was a shed outside our window, but it was funny.

"Fantastic location, walking distance to eiffel tower as thats right down..."
Pros: Fantastic location, walking distance to eiffel tower as thats right down the road and if your a walker then all the other main places are easy to get to on foot. if you like walking that is. pub right opposite and shops along the road of hotel.
Cons: The location is the only thing good about this hotel. hotel is very run down and needs a good makeover. warped stairs, stained carpets, bathroom door hanging off hinges, tap coming away from sink, stained walls as walls are also covered in carpet. dusty. on night of arrival was greeted by a very unfriendly man who wasnt helpful at all.
"The room was adorable, parisian style, and the desk personnel were..."
Pros: The room was adorable, parisian style, and the desk personnel were unfailingly polite and helpful.
Cons: Minor quibble: no internet-connected computer was available for guest use, though i think there was wifi available in the lobby.
"The hotel location was great, it was just near the eiffel tower"
Pros: The hotel location was great, it was just near the eiffel tower.
the hotel was really cosy, and beautiful.
Cons: The staff was awful, really bad, specially the french guy. he really dose not know how to treat with costumers, he was rude.
