 "Hotel was ok"
The hotel's location is absolutely perfect. Located next to the Louvre and a stop from the hop on/off bus, it could not have been any easier.

The hotel itself was ok, nothing majorly special. An error had occurred with our booking, meaning that my mum and I had to stay in separate single rooms, but that wasn't a major issue for either of us.

The room was small, some tiles missing here and there, but everything worked and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The breakfast was quite basic, but really nice.

The lift is really tiny, old and did not work the 2nd night we stayed there, but we were both fine to go up the stairs.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, so overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

"Good deal compared to the average Paris hotel"
I have seen many hotels in the last year in Paris and the TimHotel is by far one of the best deals I got. The room was incredibly small, no a/c and heavy blankets in summer. Room was tidy and friendly staff

"Worst experience – they only survive because of the location"
I called the hotel the same day as we would arrive, only to confirm the booking and also to let them know that we would arrive at 8 pm. Everything was OK and the receptionist told us that they were expecting us. So far so good. But when we arrived to the hotel, the receptionist asked if we haven’t already checked in this morning. When I pointed to our luggage and said that we only called this morning to confirm the booking, she said that they made a mistake. The last thing you want to hear at 8 pm (or anytime at all). She briefly said that they booked us to another hotel (far away, close to Montparnasse). Me and my mum was so disappointed, and tried to hold on to the fact that we booked the hotel 4 month ago and also got the booking confirmed by e-mail and phone. But it was pointless. So we took a cab to go to the other hotel. When we arrived on a black and small alley, we got into the hotel and were welcomed by a young nice guy (wearing sweatpants). Our room was a mess. Hair on the beds and footprints in the bathroom. When I called the reception the young guy told us that he would to the embedding. Meanwhile me and mum went out to buy some water. When we got back – the blanket were missing. Getting down to the reception once again, he informed us that he was very sorry but there were no clean blankets. We had to sleep with only the duvet covers. It was freezing and very unpleasant. The whole experience the whole night was such a disappointment. The receptionist were really unfriendly (except from the young guy in sweatpants). They wanted us to pay for the room without blankets and they did not even say they were sorry. Had to make a lot of trouble only to not pay for that terrible night and they did not even give us the breakfast free of charge – I had to make that point myself. Back to the Hotel at Le Louvre, it was tiny but clean. One of the twin beds were super noisy and were about to break when you sat down in it (and my weight is 55kg). Had to ask for a hairdryer since they only had it in the reception. Breakfast was a joke (croissants, coffee and juice). The ladies who cleaned the rooms were really sweet. But that is about it. The location is the only reason why you would book this hotel.

 "Do not stay here!"
Location is great, and the price is good. You get what you pay for though! The night portier was great and serviceminded, and the cleaning ladies were really nice, but the two regulars in the reception were awful. The girl was honestly very rude and didn't even bother to say hello after our first day! Only when spoken to did she look up and answer questions, always with a bored look. The boy said hello, but was very nonchalant. It's like they don't know what "service" means. We got the wrong room, so after a lot of complaining we got a new one. We had to wait an entire hour! The new room was right next to the renovation area -which noone had informed us about. The room smelled like glue and paint fumes, and it was terribly hot and no air condition. There is wifi in the hotel, but it didn't work in our room.Honestly, don't stay here. Location is great but there are other hotels in the area, more or less for the same place.

"Very good position, quick easy check in, room size adequate and what would..."
Pros: Very good position, quick easy check in, room size adequate and what would be expected for an older building in central paris.
Cons: Chatellet les halles metro/rer not thr easiest place to navigate especially as undergoing rebuilding works. an indication on the hotel information as to which exit to use would be useful. also some rer b line trains from cdg airport finish at gare du nord and require one to change trains for one stop.

"Staff is perfectly chosen, very helpful"
Pros: Staff is perfectly chosen, very helpful. location is safe and closed to metro station and city center.
Cons: Bath and shower are too small. so is the elevator which does not seem much safe. expensive for a 3* hotel and pricewise there is no advantage of internet booking.

 "Loved the location"
Pros: Loved the location...very safe and a 'stone's throw' from le louvre. free wifi in room very convienent, but poor signal. signal was much better in the lobby.
Cons: Hotel staff pressured us to reserve a taxi to airport with them ahead of time. however, they did not tell us in so doing that the fee to the airport would be 10euros more. i wondered also if the staff were receiving a 'kick-back'.

"For it's location, this hotel is wonderfully priced"
Pros: For it's location, this hotel is wonderfully priced. its close to many main attractions, and those not within walking distance are easily accessable on the metro.
the rooms, although not huge, are clean and very comfortable. warm soft bed, great shower (although again on the smaller size) and free wi-fi! breakfast at €10 for what you are offered is easily the best deal in the area. cafe's giving you what you get from timhotel are double.
the staff speak english well, and are a wealth of airport, metro, and travel information. i will definitely stay at their chain of hotels again!
