"Timhotel, Montmartre"
Third time of staying. Even though building work ongoing to exterior, staff went out of their way to meet our requirements which was greatly appreciated.

"Good hotel"
Helpful staff and nice buffet breakfast. No real negatives other than noise from outside which normally died down by midnight.

"Great Parisian Atmosphere"
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. As already mention in previous reviews the room was very small, but adequate. Breakfast room was also small but didn't cause a problem. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location, Sacre Coeur is at the top of the hill and the Moulin Rouge (and red light district!) is at the bottom. Very picturesque area, typical french buildings. There are loads of shops, restaurants and bars, also close to the underground which is so easy to use for sightseeing.

"Comfortable, good value"
Clean, comfortable place to stay and great breakfast for the price. Room and bathroom were small, but everything worked, and again for the price was a good value. Very short walk from the metro station, but just a warning that this is a hilly area with lots of steps to climb. Also was very near to the Sacre Coeur, as well as a pleasant square with lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Only problem was that my husband forgot to pack his toothbrush and our toothpaste, the booklet in our room said that the hotel had these amenities available at the front desk, but when we inquired, they did not.

"Romantic few days"
The hotel is superbly placed for discovering Montmartre. Also well placed for the Nightclubs (around 10 mins walk) and closed to the metro. The room we had was "superior" but in truth was very small.barely room to move in the sleeping area.Breakfast room was hardly big enough for the amount of people staying and on the second morning people were actually standing, waiting for a table. The actual Buffet area was barely big enough for 3 people to serve themselves.Staff extremely friendly, rooms were cleaned each day and were warm and comfortable (though small).Decor is dated and needs a new coat of paint. However we were happy at the value as being very central enable lots of sites to be seen
"The reception desk staff were very efficient and helpful, and most of all..."
Pros: The reception desk staff were very efficient and helpful, and most of all freindly.
Cons: There was a member of staff in the breakfast hall whose attitude wasn't the best, the language barrier between english and french resulted in a foul manner (from the member of staff, who otherwise was friendly) over what was a a miss understanding. this issue was minor, however the effect of the altercation did put a bad mood on the morning. as a paying customer, this attitude is not welcoming.

"Fabulous, historical and artistic location, great views"
Pros: Fabulous, historical and artistic location, great views. pleasant, helpful and efficient staff. easy metro access.
Cons: Monmartre is a lively area with the street noise to go with it. i see it as local ambiance and preferred to sleep with open windows anyway. those sensitive to noise may want to keep their windows closed. area is hilly for those who get short winded.
