This very charming budget hotel enjoys a central location in the heart of Paris, and close to the most beautiful monuments of the French capital such as the Champs Elysèe, Moulin Rouge, Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. Also other points of interest are within easy reach like the Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame Cathedral. All these monuments are just a few minutes away by metro or bus.
Getting around: Paris is best explored on foot or using the fast, cheap and reliable Metro (underground) which traverses the city and its suburbs. Buses are a good way to see the city from above ground. Tickets can be bought on board buses or from machines in Metro stations and must be validated upon boarding. The RER regional train service connects the city with the surrounding area. Taxis can be hailed in the street but are hard to find at peak times and booking in advance in recommended.

By public transport, from Orly Airport: Take the C6 (yellow) SNCF train and change trains at Antony station to the RER B train and change again at 'Saint-Michel Notre-Dame' station. Change to the RER C train (1, 5 or 7) direction 'Pontoise'/'Versailles Rive Gauche'/'Saint-Quentin-en-yvelines-Montigny-le-Bretonneux' and get off at ‘Invalides’ station. From there, take metro line 13 in the direction of 'Asniers Gennvilliers' and get off at metro station 'Brochant'. The hotel is at 3 minutes walking distance from the metro station.
By public transport, from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG): The RER line B rapid train service connects the airport with central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) runs from the station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord. A single ticket costs €7.85. Journey takes around 25 minutes. Change to RER E for Saint Lazare, followed by metro line 13 in the direction of 'Asniers Gennvilliers' and get off at metro station 'Brochant'. The hotel is at 3 minutes walking distance from the metro station.

Cons: Beware no elevators! i was given a 4th floor room despite a note that i would be accompanied by a handicapped person, while booking in advance. slow, very slow, reception staff. wifi costs extra. its not half as "central" as it claims to be.
Cons: Double bed was very small - hardly a double. staff took 3 days to fix a broken sink, despite repeated requests and then still charged for a shower, despite having no other means to clean ouselves
Cons: Location is dodgy, dangerous to walk at night (the hotel staff toldus that), the room was small ish and the bathroom there is simply no room at all. also, the towels were barely changed, and when they did they never replaced with new ones.
Cons: You have to go through the lobby to shower and they charge for it!!!! 3$ paper thin walls, noisy plumbing next time i´ll stay elseware
