 "Style over Functionality"
The decor of hotel chose style at the cost of convenience. Some examples: 1) Toilet had very elegant wallpaper/tiling but NO sink w/i room & even more annoying NO toilet paper dispenser! 2) Shower had no door which aesthetically looked nice but it was darn difficult trying to keep the floor & walls outside the shower enclosure from getting soaked!For my needs the location was perfect & the hotel personnel were uniformly very kind & helpful but the quirkiness of the decor & the noisiness of my particular room dragged down my rating.

 "my stay at hotel la villa glamour"
the room was very bad , there were no shower curtains , the sink were not stable and the water handle kept falling , the floor of the bathroom was carpet , the walls were too thin that you could hear people whispering across the hall , AND there was no hot water for 2 nights (for their credit they gave me a 15 euros discount because of that)

Pros: The room was really nice, clean and the hotel is so close for everything! the parking is quite good if you go in august or weekend because it is free! staff are nice and friendly! we had a lovely time!!!

Pros: Very comfortable beds, lovely showers, the staff are polite and try to be helpful, lovely district and within walking distance to trocadero.
Cons: We were told our booking came with free wifi however, this was turned off the day before we left which made it very difficult to determine how to get to the airport via shuttle (we were flying from beauvais) as the concierge had no idea...also the rooms are very hot and are only cooled by a floor fan which isn't really enough.
