Pros: Really nice staff, close to sacre coeur if you are willing to just walk (about 2,7km). the room was clean and no outside noises. able to smoke in case you're a smoker. lots of bars, restaurants & grocerie stores close by. also they all speak english and spanish which was really helpful

Pros: Excellent location 10 mins from centre of paris on the tube cheap bars close by, staff very helpful even printed information for us without being asked to, continental breakfast was good quality and given more when asked for it.

Pros: Staff were very helpful. the hotel was very inexpensive. i asked for a quiet room, which was on the courtyard and which was quiet except for the lift.
Cons: The hotel was a bit of a journey to the city centre. our bed was broken and there was a delay in fixing it (2 nights!) due to translation error. the shower had broken off the wall at some earlier time and had not been replaced - just a hose out of the tub.

Pros: Staff was very helpful and kind, and the place is clean and tidy. the breakfast was good enough - coffee, tea, orange juice, bread, cheese, cereal, and yogurt.
Cons: For me the downside was the location - far from the centre and the area wasn't so nice... we had noise from the street in the middle of the night which was annoying. the room is small but that's how the rooms are in paris, especially if you don't want to pay so much... when we stayed it was very hot and we didn't even have a fan.

Pros: Hotel was just few metro stops from city centre. very clean and quiet. staff was very nice and polite, helpful. we had breakfasts included, simple but helped with starting our day. this hotel made our trip better and would stay there again if visiting paris.
Cons: We stayed in double room which was a bit smaller than we expected but it was more than enough for spending nights there, otherwise we were in city. locality of hotel seems a bit dangerous but didn't have any problems so it might be just impression.

Pros: Chap at reception went way "beyond the call of duty" to help us with our questions of transport etc around paris. also as neither of us spoke any french, it was great to have someone behind the desk who understood english. he made our trip much easier. good lad!
also the lady when we checked-out. even though we were leaving, she was still very helpful. thanks.

Pros: the hotel was most comfortable,clean and well positioned.the staff were very polite, very helpful and cheerful.the breakfast was excellent and for our evening meal we went to a small restaurant la roma just a few minutes walk away where we had an excellent very reasonably priced meal.the hotel was near food and other shops and ten minutes walk from the metro. the science museum was very near and it was very easy to get into the centre of paris from the hotel. all in all i would highly recommend this hotel very highly to anyone visiting paris.

Pros: Breakfast service was great and were able to sit at our own table every morning; staff were helpful & friendly providing me with a hair-dryer and mirror as there was not 1 in the room; the room was cleaned, vacuumed & towels changed every day;location was 10min walk from/to metro stop. we would recommend and stay there again!
Cons: Not clearly signed 'villette' outside so look for hotel 1v **nn (the symbol in the pictures).

Pros: The hotel was very easy to get to - less than 5 minutes from the metro, the room was basic but clean and the breakfast very good.
Cons: On the website i read that we would get satelite tv but it was only the normal channels.

Pros: Budget hotel in an ethnic but welcoming neighbourhood convenient for the crimee metro. stayed 6 days. good local shops. free wi fi worked well. very helpful staff. wall safe for your netbook etc - 4 euros a night. breakfast at 6 euros only taken on day one - average. bring your own kettle.
Cons: Sheets and towels were clean but room was shabby and only passably clean. double bed was very old and creaked like a boat if you moved - but at 55 euros a night -it was great value.
