Istria Saint Germain Paris  

Pros: The staff were very nice, the room was clean and the location is just off of a metro stop, yet located on a quiet side street. the room was small, but as with everywhere in paris the use of small space is maximized. i was able to store my luggage for a few hours since checkout time was earlier than the time i needed to leave for the airport. i have no complaints, and will not hesitate to stay here again.

Pros: Clean, neat & the hotel was really well looked after. loved the breakfast room. comfortable beds. bathroom very small but worked really well.
Cons: The noisy traffic - we like to sleep with the window open but couldn't as the noise was too loud.

Pros: Clean and fine room, nice breakfast, good location near the rer and metro and central placed in paris
Cons: The staff was kind but the check-out procedure seemed to be complicated. it took long.

Pros: Metro was right on your doorstep, hotel staff were excellent and very accommadating. very, very happy with hotel istria! definitely will be staying there again!

rer line to airport. great location in montparnasse area.
quiet, adequate for short stay, or longer for travelers who don't spend most of the time in hotels - rooms are small.
Cons: The night duty person was a jerk.

Pros: Good location. second room quaint and lovely.
Cons: No tea or coffee facilities even though mentioned on website. initial room (1) not to standard would expect

Pros: Located oposite tube station, the hotel makes good impression.
Cons: The lift is very tiny, and the hall so small that only allows to open door to one room (or a lift) at the same time.
a chambermaid has just started to clean our room when we came back in the evening. as a result, she did not have time to finish it off properly.

i left a book in a room but when i contacted the hotel, they told me that it was not there.

Pros: The hotel is well located
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities were not available in the bedroom and when we asked, we were charged for the milk! also charge for using internet for about 1 minute was excessive at 3 euros and charge for storing cases on our day of departure was also excessive, but to be fair to the concierge he did waive this whe we raised our eye brows to it. think he knew it was excessive!!!

Pros: The hotel was well kept and the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. it was better than i had expected after reading other reviews. the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: I had reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights through the website and the reservation wasn't clearly communicated to the hotel, so they only had one room available for us on the first night. the second night they were able to arrange for the 2 rooms. for the first night the staff at the hotel called some others in the area and managed to find a second room for us, however it was inconvenient as the other hotel was about a 10-15 minute walk away. the breakfast was over priced for what it was: coffee, tea or hot chocolate with bread and croissants for 10 euro. i am gluten intollerant so just had a hot chocolate, but still was charged for the whole breakfast. needless to say we only tried this once, and found it much better to eat at a nearby cafe the second morning.

Pros: Nice friendly staff a good location and right next to the metro.

Pros: The staff were friendly. the hotel itself was calm and welcoming.
Cons: The room did not meet my expectations, unfortunately - it was smaller, without tea & coffee facilities, and barely room for two people.
