Cons: I have one major citicism in my experience here. while showering one evening, the incorrectly installed shower door shattered when i opened it leaving me covered in glass with cuts to my hands, legs, stomach and head. the hotel assitant promised i would not have to pay for the room, however upon check out i had to pay for both nights, despite arguing with the hotel manager who threatened to call the police if i attempted to leave without settling the full bill! unbelieveable.

Pros: Its only positive attribute is its location...in the heart of the marais, and close to city centre. is difficult to find initially, but once done, after much searching and asking of local people, it is very accessible to all city centre attractions.
Cons: It is small, tiny rooms, with little or no facilities, staff only reasonably friendly, dont go much out of their way to offer advice or be over friendly. we asked twice for an extra towel in room as there was only one on arrival. we got one but it was taken again the next day. is not good value for money, as there are nicer, more spacious and comfortable hotels nearby, offering better value all round and better facilities. wont be returning there ever.

Pros: Great location with fantastic restaurants and nightlife near by. within reasonable walking distance to many attractions, however, given the efficiency of the paris metro system, everything is no more than 15-20 mins away.
Cons: Minor dilema with one of the hotel staff, however, other staff were very helpful.

Cons: We phoned the week before and asked for a twin room and the hotel confirmed this would be no problem. when we arrived, we were told there were no twin rooms available, so my brother and had to sleep in a double. they offered us a twin room on the second night.

Cons: Lobby renovations not finished. breakfast in room was available but nobody told me that until i left. loads of cafes within a block, but i would have killed for a morning coffee in my room.
