Le 123 Elysees Paris is the new "Haute Couture" location in the 8th arrondissement. Here we can discover an original display of materials. A real mix of styles and atmospheres is the key to the charm of this feminine Parisian hotel, a place where men can also feel good. The large London-style red brick staircase guides guests to the hotel's 41 rooms and suites. Each room is unique, with contemporary design. A multitude of subtle details guarantee the most outstanding decoration.

The Le 123 Elysees Hotel boasts stone features in some rooms, four-poster beds in others, a star-encrusted sky in the zinc ceiling in some bathrooms with white, brown and copper colored headboards. The decoration is elegant and new: architects' offices, fluorescent glass tables, curtains replace wardrobe doors, walls are decorated elegantly with fashion drawings, inspired by Issey Miyake.

Cons: There was a stain on the mattress, and the hotel staff had turned it upside down to hide it. i then had the worst night's sleep ever until i surmised that the mattress had to be upside down--that it wasn't double-sided but hard one side, soft the other, and the wrong side was up. sure enough, i turned it over--at 2am--and had a decent night's sleep.

Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent. we only got one taxi our entire stay. while it was a nice walk to see all the sights it was a great way to see the city. the hotel was beautifully decorated. rooms very clean. our room was on the first floor and facing a main street but the noise of the street was well blocked out. the reception staff was very helpful and spoke excellent english.
Cons: The room was a bit small, we only stayed for two nigths so it was fine for that lenght of time.
