This is the second time I've stayed at rhis hotellocated across the Seine from Notre Dame cathedral, the view is breathtaking. The rooms are reasonable in size given you're in the core of Paris and right on the edge of the Latin quarter which is the prime entertainment region for dining and shows. The staff at the hotel are fantastic, the rooms are gems, each is unique and chic. My bed was a bit hard, which is my main critique. Shower is huge with lots of water pressure. The walls are a bit thin, so noisy neighbors could be a problem (though it wasn't for me). I plan to stay here the next time I'm in Paris.

Small hotel very close to Notre Dame. Small and nicely furnished rooms. Rooms are calm. Service is friendly. There is no minibar in the rooms but beverages are available on the reception desk.

Pros: Really fantastic loction. room, although rather small, had a great bathroom. fact that one has to carry one's luggage to first floor reception might be an impediment to some people.

Cons: Rip off 9 euros each for breakfast coffee, juice, bread,5 euros bottle of beer, no tea coffee in rooms out side 9/10 euros a pint exchange rate 0.92 to the pound they dont like the british

Pros: The rooms are recently renovated and very nicely done. the rooms with a view have beautiful views of notre dame & the seine. the location is great for getting around paris.
Cons: It's a very noisy location, if you enjoy opening your window, however the windows when closed do a good job of keeping the noise out. also, there is not an elevator from the street level. you need to walk up one flight to reach the elevator, so if this is an issue for you or you have a lot of luggage, it's difficult.
