Pros: Great location in terms of proximity to the metro station, which had a direct, fast line into central paris. modern, clean room, and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: Not really in walking distance of anything but sacre coeur.

Pros: Stayed at the luxel for one night last week. room looks recently refurbished so kinda modern with good bathroom facilities.
Cons: Only one huge issue with our room 205 and i suspect other rooms... noise. we could hear everything happening in the rooms above and to the side. also the floor above our room creeked really badly which made it difficult to sleep.
a real deal breaker sad to say. fix that and its a great hotel, if not i'd never come back.

Pros: The owner is kind enough to allow us to cut short our stay by one day and gave us back the full refund of that day.
the location of the hotel is superb, just about 100 meters away from pigalle metro station and about 500 meter away from molin rouge.
Cons: The staircase can be challenging for travellers with heavy luggage.

Pros: The location is fantastic, right in the heart of montmartre and 50 metres from the metro station pigalle. the hotel rooms have been renovated so everything was immaculately clean. the owner and reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: No negatives for us but just two comments for other people who may view the following as negatives: like any older paris building, the hotel has no elevator. we only had hand luggage so this was fine, but if you have a huge case perhaps request a room that isn't on the 4th or 5th floor. also, the free wifi is only available in the reception area, although the owner did tell us this is something he is changing so wifi is available in each room.

Pros: Close to the metro and bus stops. hotel staff could speak english and very accomodative. was able to leave my bags for a couple of hours after checking out. both room and bathroom was clean. walking distance to opera,a good shopping area.
Cons: No lift, was stressful carrying heavy bag up to the 2nd floor.
noise from pedestrians and traffic interrupted sleep especially early morning.

Pros: The room is what it looks like in the picture! extremely modern and well kept! very clean
Cons: Entering the hotel it looks quite old and run down, dont let this cast a shadow over your room and the location...there excellent!

Pros: The position of the hotel is very good, near metro station of line 2 & 12. 24-hour service is also very convenient.

Pros: Perfect budget hotel, clean and tidy and great location near the main pigalle tube. the room was modern and clean, good shower.
Cons: The internet didnt work and the staff didnt speak english, but did try. there are no other facilities here for breaqkfast etc but you didnt need it cafe opposite. just a place to sleep and relax at night. no lift and loads of stairs

Pros: Room was nice and clean and the towels/bed were changed each day. it was basic but what we would expect for the money we paid. excellent location with lots to do close by and only a 2 minute walk from a metro station. would definitely stay there again.
