"Great location-right next to place bastille"

Book a room at the Hotel Lyon Mulhouse for a relaxing stay in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. It’s a classic Bastille, Paris hotel in close proximity to the Bastille Opera and the Place des Vosges. In continuous operation as a hotel since 1920, the Hotel Lyon Mulhouse was renovated in 2006 to update the 40 guest rooms and equip them with air-conditioning. As a guest, you can enjoy a continental breakfast in the breakfast room or order room service. The hotel staff can store your valuables in a personal safe in the reception area, and can assist you with email or fax service. Dogs are allowed. The hotel’s greatest asset may be its fantastic location, just on the other side of the Place de la Bastille from the Bastille Opera. Shops and restaurants line Beaumarchais Boulevard, on which the hotel stands. Nearby, pleasure boats are docked at the marina at the Bassin de l'Arsenal, which links the Canal Saint-Martin to the Seine. To the west of the Hotel Lyon Mulhouse, the Le Marais historic district is full of magnificent architecture that reflects its aristocratic past. Among the Marais attractions are the Picasso Museum, the Cognacq-Jay Museum, the Carnavalet Museum, and the home of Victor Hugo. From the hotel it’s approx. a 5 minute walk to the Bastille station of the Paris Metro and a 15 minute walk to the Gare de Lyon train station.

Pros: Great location-right next to place bastille. arrived pretty late at night- very charming guy on reception. upgraded me to the best room he could find and was generally very welcoming. nice big room. it's a 2 star hotel so slightly shabby decor but perfectly clean. i was there for business and just needed quiet so it was perfect for me. thanks to the reviews on here i knew to ask for a room away from the very noisy street. good tip! all in all an excellent place for the price.
Cons: Breakfast was fine but a bit functional. nothing specifically wrong with it but if i was there again i think i'd go to one of the nearby cafes for a bit more of a vibe. since you have to pay 8 euros anyway.
