Pros: After having a rather negative experience, the staff of mon hotel truly went out of their way to change my impression/experience of the city. and it wasn't just me, the staff is truly accommodating to all their patrons. it is a boutique hotel that caters to those who are willing to spend a little more, for a little more. the rooms are a nice size and they are quiet. the view is lovely. it is a very short walking distance to the metro, local cafes and essentially right behind the arc de triomphe so you can always find your way home! i walked everywhere from this point on the map and it did change my experience in paris.
Cons: There are no wine bottle openers in the room. if you plan to buy a bottle with bread and cheese to enjoy in your room, plan accordingly. the soap in the hotel is fairly acidic so have some lotion on hand. the safe is not large enough for a laptop but it's a fairly secure hotel being next to i think two embassies. as you can see, these are very minor complaints. should you choose to book this hotel, you will be very happy.
