Montmartre Clignancourt Paris    

Fine for a affordable family trip to Paris; even 3 and 4 child rooms.have a shimmy under some bedpost to level your bed on the askew floorsome rooms no shower/WCnice personellocation in real Paris live scene, close to safe P , metro, monuments and cheap shopping

The hotel was not in a great neighborhood. The room and hallway were not clean. I saw blood on the walls in our bathroom, as well as in the hallway. There was no soap or shampoo for the shower. The wireless service only worked on the first floor. There is no elevator.

Intended to stay in this hotel with family (we two plus two kids). First of all as the website says, it is not 0.5Km away from Paris Nord startion. It is definatley morethan 3,4 miles away from Nord station. I had to take metro from Nord. Went to the reception. Receptionist said that the room is not avilable as there is an issue with shower in the room ( I am sure they were lying). Then she said that they will organise a room in another hotel, just 2 minutes away. She made somany phone calls and after 45 minutes, she came back and said that she organised a room clese by. We were asked to go to that hotel, accomanied by their manager. We had walk for 15 minutes (with kids and luggage) to go to that hotel (Hotel Bearnais).That is another terrible experience. No heating in the room. When I asked the lady for heating, she said that heaters is off until October. Terrible cold but no heaters.Overall if you are with family, avoid these hotels and try to avoid this area as I was told that it is a bad area (pick pocketters and RED light area). Spend little bit more money and stay in a reasonable hotel.

The hotel is very good located, nearby the metro and the center of the city but very difficult to find parking space. The room is old fashion and in my opinion not according building construction rules. The towels are not clean and the breakfast is terrible. The promissed WIFI is not working, so after all, I am glad it was onfly for one night.Marnix TimmermanBelgium

You get what you pay 4. A typical old parisian hotel at montmartre, no more no less so fits the price of a room just fine!.. 4 new costumers information: ! they dont have an elevator!!

I did not stay for the second knight, I had to find another hotel.Floor serface was not straight I had to hold on to the bad to sleep.

turned up room was dirty, sheets, bedding was dirty, there was food left on chair from last person. Was not prepared to stop so booked out and had to pay for another hotel.

For our purpose, this hotel was fab. The location is excellent being only minutes from the steps at the most fantastic church and sites of Monmatre. The staff and owner were fabulous and accomodated our needs whenever we asked and the whole deal was very reasonable for the price. However, if you struggle with stairs then there is no lift although the receptionist offered to help with bags if you needed it and if you haven't been to a Paris hotel before then expect small bedrooms and small bathrooms.

This is good hotel for unfussy travellers. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Only one bad think-there is no lift. If you`ve got room on 5 floor you need to be fit, because it is difficult to climb on stairs.

First night i checked in i was told that there was no available room with shower and toilet included. My wife is pregnant so we made a scene and did not accept to pay until the next morning when they moved us to another room, thanks to the nice persons at the front desk.We thought that this justt happens, but exactly the same think to another couple when the arrived a day after us, and i overheard the discussion. Apparently they do not have as many double bedrooms with shower included as advertised and they try to give a minor discount to accept a room without the reserved services. If i remember well he discount was approximately 50 euros for 5-7 days of stay.

Cons: Internet just in lobby, no lift, good for short stay

Pros: Good value for very small amount of money we paid. better for young people, who just want a place to put their heads at night.

Cons: No lift, and on the sixth floor is no joke!

Pros: The hotel manager was quite helpful.
Cons: We found the general cleanliness of the hotel poor- particularly the toilets. it didn't have a very good feel to it and was expensive for what we got!

Pros: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The standard of cleanliness was poor. we stayed for 2 nights but no-one came to clean the room after the first night, so our towels were dirty and i had to go to ask for extra toilet rolls. also, a dirty towel was left on the bed by one of the cleaners, which was somewhat offputting.
also, the breakfast was pretty basic, with the orange juice tasting like dishwater!

Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful staff, simple but nice breakfast, a lot of kebab shops nearby for those concerned with halal food, also a lot of bars around, 3 minutes walk to the metro station, also quite near the gare du nord, nice bathroom
Cons: Room was quite high up but no elevator (quite minor really)
