Paris hotel in the Alésia-Montparnasse district is a 15-minute metro ride from Champs Elysées + Luxembourg Garden.

This charming hotel enjoys a central location in the Alésia-Montparnasse district. At the corner of two streets overlooking a small public garden, the Moulin Vert Hotel Paris attracts the eye with its beautifully crafted facade, its wrought iron ornamentation and flowering balconies.

At Moulin Vert Hotel Paris you will find a charming, character-filled home, a thousand leagues from the impersonal banality found in chain hotels. Once you’ve crossed the hotel's threshold, you’ll discover a simple yet inviting atmosphere with attentive and efficient service.

Without claiming to be at the cutting edge of innovation, the attractive and comfortable small 2-star Moulin Vert Hotel has built its reputation on conscientiousness, cleanliness, an inviting welcome and good value for money. This explains its significant number of regular, loyal guests.

The Alésia-Montparnasse district has long been the favourite place for artists. The painter Picasso, the sculptor Giacometti and the singer Georges Brassens, to name just a few, all lived very close to the Hotel Moulin Vert. Although located right in the heart of Paris, the district has managed to preserve its village-like character. Boutiques, bistros and street markets coexist in harmony. Residents and office workers lend stability and security to the neighbourhood.

Within only 4 minutes walking distance you can find the 'Boutiques dégriffées' on 'Rue Alésia', offering marked-down designer clothing with labels removed. Also metro station 'Pernety' is at only 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel, offering good connection to the rest of the city. Within 15 minutes you are able to reach the Champs Elysées and Luxembourg Garden by metro and the Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower are 20 minutes away by metro.

"small lovely hotel in a nice area."
The room was clean and all my expections were fully met, as there were fresh towels every day, tv, free internet connection and fan.Unfortunately my room was under the roof on the fifth floor, and despite the fan even during the night it was very hot.The area is lovely and quiet, with a bakery next-door, the cinema and the metro station not far away.I liked very much the old style of the hotel, which was nevertheless calm and tidy. Although there were some things not working properly anymore, like the socket in the bathroom and the curtain, of which half was falling down. The staff was in general very friendly, at the end of the stay even more. All in all best value for money.

 "Nice place"
The place was nice and overall clean. There were some problems with wifi the first night, but they had it fixed the next day. You do have to leave your room key with them (which I didn't know when I booked), but it wasn't horrible and someone was always at the desk. They have breakfast available for 8€, but I didn't get it. The room has no a/c so it did get kinda warm...I did open the window, but then mosquitos flew in and I didn't want to be itchy so I closed the windows. The room is smallish, but overall clean. There were some holes in the curtains. About. 7 minute walk to the Metro...there is a bus stop even closer.

 "Summer Holiday"
We found the hotel to be clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to secure the room on a special reduced rate but still felt it was slightly over priced for the amenities it offered. The room offered no air conditioning and was very stuffy at night leading us to open the balcony door, which led to increased noise from the street and further impacted upon our sleep. There was no bin in the room apart from a very small one in the bathroom and there was insufficient room to store clothes leading us to live out our suitcases all week. The room was basic and probably better served for a short break and not the week we stayed.
