Rooms were clean but small. Small was okay for us for the price we paid and the great location of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

"New Hotel Gare Du Nord"
The hotel is in a great location, being a 2 minute walk from Gare Du Nord station, which is easily accessible from CDG airport. it is clean, but basic. they charge you £7.50 per person for breakfast each day, but dont tell you this til the end when you have to pay. apart from this it provided everything we needed. overall i was quite pleased with the hotel, nothing fancy but clean enough. 2/5

"Small room with exposed wiring"
Best thing about this hotel was the close proximity to Gare du Nord, literally across the street. Room was small and basic with exposed wiring in the wall. Bathroom/wetroom was modern however there were exposed wires in ceiling and water from the shower dripped all through to bedroom, leaving a nice puddle so best to wedge a rolled up towel under the door. Noise from corridors/stairs made it a restless night's sleep and the room was airless. The lift was big enough for 2 people (without cases) and you practically stepped out of the room on to the stairs.

"great location!"
Perfect for Eurostar travellers as the hotel is just a minute walk from the Gare du Nord station. It's clean and cheap. It's not the kind of hotel you would want to spend your free time in, however, it's perfect if you want to explore Paris all day and need somewhere central to shower and get some sleep. The only drawback...I had very noisy 'neighbours' that made my sleep difficult. I could hear them talk at night and their constant door slamming was very annoying.

"Good basic"
This hotel is literally over the road from the Gare du Nord. It is very basic - nothing fancy at all, but it is clean. Many restaurants nearby. For an overnight stop or a 'base camp' for site-seeing its good. But for a holiday, I like more amenities.

"I have never been in a hotel with filthier carpets, old furniture and..."
Pros: I have never been in a hotel with filthier carpets, old furniture and brocken stuff in the whole way that i could not enter the room, freezing cold in the bathroom and the heating in the room does not work..for 130 euros, they can do a liiiittle better
Cons: Dirty carpet, no heating and the pictures in the site are deceiving.

Pros: Really nice place to stay for a long weekend, wouldn't stay there for longer than 4 days though. directly opposite the train station and right next to the metro, makes it easy to get around. brilliant restaurants and cafes nearby.
Cons: None.

Pros: Very helpful staff, convenient central location if you are travelling by train and metro.
Pros: The second night of our stay was bearable.
Cons: The first night of our stay was beside rooms with hookers. the noise was so loud that we had trouble sleeping. we knew exactly how many clients each of the two serviced. we would not recommend this hotel to anyone and have agreed not to admit being there to family or friends.
