"Valentine's Day in Paris"
2mins from the St Paul's station, conveniently located with cafes and convenience stores within a stone's throw. Sylvie the receptionist spoke perfect English and was very helpful as well as informative. We were put up in Room 601, which was a double. Room itself was small but the bathroom was huge, clean and fitted with a bath tub. So for 130Euros a night for a clean, comfortable room in the heart of the Marais district, one should be pleasantly satisfied no matter the purpose of visit

"Very good location, 2 min walk to/from metro station"
Pros: Very good location, 2 min walk to/from metro station. everything is around the hotel, whether shopping centre, restaurants, attractions, etc.
thanks for the adapter that i borrowed from staff otherwise i had to buy one.
Cons: The building is quite old thus needs redesign particularly bathroom. the room i occupied is quite small, even for 1 person. really need to change the lighting, it's far too dark. i couldn't do reading in the room.

"Our experience of this hotel was entirely positive, the staff were extremely..."
Pros: Our experience of this hotel was entirely positive, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. the hotel itself was a short stroll from st. paul metro station in the heart of the marais district. we caught the metro to all tourist destinations and were amazed by the efficiency and economy of the system. we lost one of our suitcases on the eurostar and the staff at the hotel went to great lengths on our behalf to ensure the safe return of our luggage, a fantastic effort. the breakfasts here were delicious and served in an attractive ground floor dining room. we will definitely return to hotel rivoli.great value!
Cons: The only negative aspect of our stay was the airport transfer arranged by the hotel staff at our request. as requested this transfer was well organised by the wonderful staff at hotel rivoli but the driver of the bus to the airport was ill mannered and abrasive and reluctant to assist with baggage. we arrived at the airport in plenty of time for our flight home which is the main thing.

"Staff very helpful and chatty"
Pros: Staff very helpful and chatty. both went over and above what was expexted of them. breakfast had a good choice of continental food and as much tea/coffee/chocolate....as you wanted. rooms were clean and well equipped. hotel was within walking distance of notre damme, louvre, seine, pompidou centre. lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
Cons: Tv only had french channels on it.

"The hotel is located close to the river seine, within walking distance of..."
Pros: The hotel is located close to the river seine, within walking distance of restraunts, supermarkets, and most importantly the metro. it's within a 10min walking distance to the notre damme, safe and secure all night, with friendly and helpfull staff, who speak fluent english. our rooms were cleaned and tidied every day - which made our stay easier. they had free wireless internet - which helped us in finding out information for our trips around paris.
i would definitley stay there again!!!
Cons: The only negative comment i could make was that we were originally put in a double room at the back of the building, facing the courtyard - which i felt was to small and dark, giving no views or scenery of paris - so i asked to be moved to another room. it turned out to be on the 4th floor, with balcony space (plenty) 2 windows giving in light, and the room was twice as big, and when we pushed the two beds together they were bigger than the double bed - plus it cost the same.
i would recommend booking a room very similar to ours.
