This is an older hotel and the rooms are a bit small, but the bed is comfortable. There is nothing special about the decor and it is well-worn as you will see as soon as you walk into the dimly lit lobby. But it is clean and the two biggest selling points are it is in a great location and they have a good breakfast buffet that is included in the price. If I had to choose a third selling point, it would be that the price is really good for the proximity to some of the attractions. We actually walked to Louvre in about 15 minutes and when traffic is heavy, it is a lot quicker than the tour bus. If you are not looking for the newest, flashiest place to stay...this will do.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we liked it. Our room was clean and facing the courtyard. Therefore it was quiet. The bathroom was fine but the shower has caused us some problems because the water didn't drain properly. We reported it to the hotel staff on a sunday, but until we left on a tuesday it didn't get repaired. We did point it out again at the checkout and hope that they have repaired it for the next guests ;-)Apart from that the hotel staff was always very helpful!Regarding the breakfast: It was fine and there was something for everyone and plenty. But it was not a very large breakfast buffet.
