 "A Paris Break"
Raspail Parnasse was used as a bedroom in Paris, no more, no less! Small room was kept clean and tidy at all times with towels replaced daily as required. Window looked out onto interesting crossroads/Boulevard but would have welcomed a small balcony to "take in" the sights. Should have been noisy but wasn't. Exhausted at end of each day and slept like logs. Had breakfast at restaurant opposite (excellent quality and value for money) and 2meals at nearbye "Cottage Restaurant" where Farouk gave excellent value for money, delicious meals and a warm welcome. Hotel is very handy for other restaurants and the Metro stations. Minimal staff interaction but what we had was polite and helpful - couldn't have done without hotel umbrella on last day and willingness to keep cases until time to go. Would go back readily but not cheap (Paris or hotel) so have to save a bit more - it's a beautiful city. Thanks Raspail for your part in a fine Paris Break.

Pros: Good location, a bit more space than most paris hotels, and although we had a room facing out to the main road, the double glazing was efficient.
Cons: I couldn't seem to adjust the heating - it was a bit stuffy.

Pros: I am a budget traveller, always looking for a comfortable place that's clean and well-located. the raspail montparnasse is all of that, plus it has a very friendly, helpful staff and very pretty decor in the public areas. i hope to stay there again in the not-so-distant future.
