 "Staff were friendly and helpful"
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: We booked a one bedroom apartment, and received confirmation that we would have a room with two separate beds in the bedroom and two pull-out sofas in the living room. i was travelling with my two sisters and my adult son. what we ended up with was one full bed and one pull-out sofa. the residence was fully booked with no other room available. the extra roll-away bed which we were promised when we checked in was never delivered.

Pros: The room was clean, and with a great view. the fact that the room also included a stovetop, oven, and fridge made the place really top notch.

Pros: -it is very close to the metro station.
-walking distance from the heart of paris.
-a kitchenette is available in the room.
Cons: -the breakfast was very limited.
-the traffic noice is really loud, very hard to get to sleep.
-the room info was misleading, it said 2 sofa beds when there was actually only one.
-the hotel's lift was quite tricky, it closes really fast. i've seen few people actually getting hit by the closing doors.

Cons: Room was adequate and no more - torn curtains, tired and worn decor and horrible thin carpet - was very surprised by the 4 star rating i wonder what they were for?

free wifi and good connection in the room was great
walking distance to lourve and galleries lafayette and st honroe shopping strip. perfect location for everything you need to see in paris.
i travelled with my mum and dad who are 60s/70s, so central location was great to minimise excess walking and also allow short cab ride home.
great restaurant with lovely french food and good service and atmosphere just around cnr on rue st augustines, turn left if heading towards lourve. wish we found it earlier than our last night there.
would stay here again & recommend to friends.

Cons: I booked a duplex room specifically with 2 sofas and we only got a duplex with 1 sofa so it was pretty cramped for all 4 of us. also the website indicated there was a reduction but in reality we paid the full price.

Pros: The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. the hotel's location was superb for touring the popular sights of paris, and just 2-300 metres from a metro station. plenty of restaurants nearby, also.
Cons: The rooms were not sound-proof, and traffic noise could be heard in the early morning rush-hour.
